What I just remembered was my cousins reaction to the death of our great-grandfather and then the death of his father.
How are you supposed to explain death to a young child? It’s probably one of the hardest things someone has to do.
Of course you have to say something to the child when someone they know dies. So my aunt (his mother) tells him that Jesus had to take Lolo (grandfather in Filipino… we called our great-grandfather this). He accepts this reason. But a couple of months later his father (my uncle) dies of leukemia. He again asks why he died and we use the same reason, “Jesus had to take him.” But he replies with, “Jesus already took Lolo. Why does he also need papa?”
What are you supposed to say to that?
Why is my sister so absolutely gorgeous? Her name is Gabrielle Caluyo for any agencies out there! XD (Taken with instagram)
How do I start this… So you know when something is really, what’s the word, popular? So everybody is talking about it and then slowly some people want to be different and start to say that the popular thing is stupid blah blah blah.
And then other people read it and go, omg I want to be like them, or whatever… Sometimes it’s not even a conscious thing; some people automatically feel the need to follow the other person. I’ve done this and still do! For example… wearing leggings as pants. I remember I used to see people doing this and I used to say, “They’re leggings, not pants.” And then I started wearing them and they were actually pretty comfortable.
Or another example: Call of Duty. It was (still is?) pretty popular and then I remember hearing a bunch of girls going, “Honestly… I don’t understand why everyone likes CoD… it’s retarded.” Now don’t get me wrong. Yes, that’s their opinion but then they said to one of the girls, “Don’t be like everyone else.” (This was a bad example)
I’m trying to think of a good example…
Well basically, I don’t understand why people can’t just leave things alone. If you don’t like someone specifically because of their interests and hobbies and what not, don’t continuously say it.
Kay. I’m into Korean stuff: music, dramas, you name it. But I remember before I was into it, there was the hype and then it started to fade away because some people made fun of it. And then some people were ‘afraid’ to show their interest in it.
I don’t understand why people have to make it so difficult to be oneself. If I like a certain type of music, why do you have to make fun of me for it? If I like to do certain types of activities, why does it bother you so much? If I dress a certain way, how does it affect you?
Yah… this post made no sense at all but I somewhat feel better.
:Q please I kind of really want you…
His hair… his…. sexiness… oh my god please…. i’m breathless
